We had challenging courses for the last event of the year. The weather was just right, not too cold or hot. The event went well because we had lots of help. Mike Sigmond even brought some hot chocolate for the group.
The only error was a misplaced pit on the brown and green courses. There was a big pit that I thought was a bit too far south (it was obviously the mapped pit, and I would have used it if I had seen it when setting the controls) and then there was a little tiny pit (that I scraped the leaves out of to make it more pit-like) that I thought was in the right place -- I also thought, "I can't believe he mapped such a small pit". I looked around for another pit, but didn't go far enough south to find it. In any case, it didn't cause too much trouble, because you could see the control from the big pit.
