UMSTEAD STATE PARK, SOUTH (Including: Reedy Creek Picnic Area and Camp Whispering Pines) - From I-40 take exit 287, Cary, Umstead park and head north into the park, and follow our signs from the entrance.
UMSTEAD STATE PARK, NORTH, (Including: The main picnic area, Maple Hill Lodge, Bike & Bridle Trail Head, Camp Lapiho, and Camp Crabtree) use the main entrance. It is on the South side of US-70, about one mile East of Aviation Parkway, and follow our signs from the entrance.
UMSTEAD STATE PARK, EBENEEZER - From US 70 just SE of the park take Ebenezer Church road south. Follow it three miles, and look for the church parking lot on your right.
SCHENCK FOREST - From I-40 take exit 289 then the RBC Arena exit which is Edwards Mill Road. Head north (away from the arena). At the next road turn left onto Reedy Creek Road. In about a quarter mile the forest will be on your left. Signs will direct you to the start.
LAKE JOHNSON - From I-40 heading East take exit 295, Gorman St. Turn right on Gorman Street. At the next light turn right on Tryon Road. Take the second right onto Avent Ferry Road, and after passing over I-40 the parking lot is on your right.
Raven Rock State Park - From Raleigh & RDU airport: I-40 East, Right on US-401 South, Right on US-421 West, Right on SR 1314 (Raven Rock Sign) into park. From I-95 take US-421 West, Right on SR 1314 (Raven Rock Sign) into park. Sanford is 16 miles west of Raven Rock on US-421
DUKE FOREST SOUTH- From I-40 take exit #266 route NC 86. Head North away from Carboro, then immediately, turn Right onto Whitfield Rd. The Start will be on your left in about 2 miles.
DUKE FOREST NORTH- From I-40 take exit #266 route NC 86. Head North away from Carboro, take the second Right onto Mt. Sinai Rd. The Start will be on your right in about 2 miles.
BOND PARK - From I-40 take exit 287 toward Cary. Turn
right on Chatham Street. At the next fork go Right onto Old Apex Road. Turn right onto
Highhouse Road, the park will be on your left in about 2 miles.
All meets begin at the boathouse at Bond Park at 10am. Classes, for those who need them,
start at 10 also. To access the boathouse, follow the signs to Bond Lake and park in the
lakefront parking lot. The boathouse is located between the parking lot and the lake.
PULLEN PARK - From I-40 heading East take exit 295, Gorman St. Turn left (north) on Gorman Street. At the next light turn right onto Avent Ferry Road. Turn right again at Western Blvd, then left onto Pullen Road. Pullen Park is on your left. We usually meet in the upper picnic area reached by the road to the pool.
FALLS LAKE - BEAVER DAM - To get to Beaverdam head north on Rt. 50, Creedmoor Rd. After crossing the bridge at Falls Lake turn Right into the Boat Launch Area, and follow our red & white signs to the upper picnic area.FALLS LAKE - HOLLY POINT STATE PARK - To get to Hollly Point Campground, head north on Six Forks Road. After crossing the bridge at Falls Lake, Holly Point Camp Ground is on your right.
MORROW MOUNTAIN STATE PARK is about 5 miles east of Albemarle, which is about 25 miles east of Charlotte. - From Raleigh take 64 West to Asheboro, then take Route 49 Southwest toward Charlotte. After crossing the lake turn South on Route 8. In 3 miles turn Left on 740. In about 10 miles, the turnoff to Morrow Mt. State Park will be on your left.

Park.
Directions
to Lake Crabtree County Park : From I-40 take Exit#
285 and go south on Aviation Parkway (away from the airport). The
entrance will be on your le! ft. If you pass a lake you have gone
too far.
The park closes the trails if they are wet and thus subject to severe
erosion, so be sure to check the website if it is or has just been
raining and the trails may be closed.
